Menzies Criteriums and Road Race

 This year as usual the Menzies Criteriums and Road Race will take place in Kalgoorlie on 5th & 6th June 2010. The road race is 132km from Menzies to Kalgoorlie through some classic outback red dirt mining scenery. There are A, B, C and D grade races and also a participation ride for the not-so-serious rider who still wants a challenge. However NEW FOR 2010 is the participation relay - 4 sections of about 35km each. Go on - form a team & send a challenge to your colleagues!

Study - Carbohydtrate Mouth Rinse

The study is investigating the effect of a carbohydrate mouthrinse on markers of endurance exercise. We are looking for endurance trained cyclists to complete four 40km time trials over a four week period (one time trial per week for four weeks). We are offering a free VO2max test and bodyfat analysis to anyone who wants to participate. FLIER

Today for Tomorrow's Cycle for Cystic Fibrosis

On September 18th 2010, a group of dedicated Perth and Sydney cyclists will set off on a month long bike ride across the country to raise funds and awareness for cystic fibrosis research.
Jason Morris, founder of the Today for Tomorrow Foundation, and friend, Scott Nestorovic, are organising the bike ride from Perth to Sydney. Jason set up the Today for Tomorrow Foundation to support cystic fibrosis research when his child was born with the condition two years ago

Cape to Cape MTB

A four-day mountain bike race through the Margaret River region in Western Australia. The event is a challenge to riders of all levels, either competitive or recreational. The course is set to an iconic backdrop of world-famous surf beaches, private farmlands, rocky outcrops and national forests.

Tour de Freedom 1000

Now a full 1,000 km ride for the second year of this incredible event managed by Teen Challenge WA.
Starting with a prologue around Esperance on Tuesday 26th of October and through to Perth over the next 5 days, the TdF1000 is limited to 40 hard core riders.
If you have what it takes to finish this event, register your interest now and step up your training program.
All participants in 2010 will be raising funds for an expanded Perth facility, so Teen Challenge can continue rescuing teenagers and their hurting families from the destructive drug and alcohol addiction scene. Also, better educate parents on how to prevent addiction happening in the first place and a High School “Say NO to Drugs” powerful Preventative Program.
