In order to compete in any of our rides, you must be either a member or a friend of BWA.
New Registration System
One of the outcomes from the team leaders meeting held in December 2009 was the need to have an improved registration system.
We are pleased to announce that after months of negotiations we have secured a significantly upgraded registration system. The new system will significantly enhance the registration process and reduce the responsibilities on our valued Team Leaders.
It will allow team leaders to register a team and then allow the team members to log in and pay individually. We feel this improvement will reduce the financial burden on Team Leaders, as well as reduce their administration time.
If they desire, Team Leaders will also be able to register and pay for all team members (similar to the old system).
Individuals will also be able to log on and register for the "Individual Teams", allowing them to choose one which suits their riding ability.
This registration system should be available for Cyclo Sportif registrations in the coming months
Enter as a Team
Our rides are based on the European styled team events. Members organise themselves into teams of 4 to 9 participants, with the overall team time counting as the completed time.
A team can be made up of any ‘like’ group such as your friends, riding group, colleagues, hand cycles, mountain bikes or over 50s. The only requirements are that the equipment is consistent throughout and that you stick together.
This is NOT racing - it is about enjoying a challenge with your team mates and 'participating' as a team not 'winning'. All teams will be timed and their times are published on our website.

Enter as an Individual
If you are not part of a team then you can still participate in our events by entering as an individual. We will place you in a team for the day with riders that match your cycling ability. You can also contact one of the existing teams directly from the Team list here.
Event Entry Fees and Program
Member - $50
Non-Member - $65
Price includes lunch and GST. Non-members are NOT covered by insurance
Cyclo Sportif requires full payment upon registration for an event. Cyclo Sportif does not refund event fees under any circumstances, including where an event is cancelled by Cyclo Sportif for any reason at its discretion.
