New or Upgraded Paths
About this page
The more riders use new paths and cycling facilities, the more it will encourage councils and other organisations to continue to upgrade their bike infrastructure.
28 June - Rockingham
A number of upgrades have occurred over the last few months in Rockingham. The council has recently built paths that extend along Warnbro Sound Ave & Port Kennedy Drive (Port Kennedy) and Dixon Road (Rockingham) to complete some links along busy roads.
You should also notice that the majority of shared paths have now been marked with cycling/pedestrian symbols, and that some of the unsafe concrete slabs have been ground back.
Look out for the new parking rails to be installed in the near future!
3 June - Upgraded lane on Victoria Ave
The on road cycle lane between Bay Road and Goldsmith Road on Victoria Ave, Claremont has now been completed. The upgraded lanes have now been overlayed with red asphalt to make them more distinctive.
