We are currently searching for an Ambassador for the WA Ride to Work Day 2010
A growing list of Ambassadors are helping to spread the bike riding buzz. If you are a Senior Manager and high profile members of the Community who endorses the concept of riding to work, make Ride to Work Day - 13 October 2010 an event on the company calendar, motivate and spread the word.
Ambassadors are listed on the Ride to Work website and may also receive the opportunity to speak to the local media about what they do to support bike commuting in their workplace.

Ambassadors are Senior Managers and high profile people within the community who have made the commitment to:
- Make Ride to Work Day (13 October 2010) a date on the company calendar and promote it well in advance through the intranet and staff newsletter.
- Organise a celebratory breakfast or encourage attendance at one of the CBD breakfasts to be held around Australia.
Other initiatives can include:
* Setting a target for participation at all worksites
* Award prizes for the site with the highest percentage of participants
* Invite other work contacts and influential friends to promote the event in their own organisation
* Promote the event through professional associations

Skip is a keen cyclist and was a member of the winning Australia II crew from the 1983 America’s Cup.
Graham Forward, Orthopaedic Surgeon & Chairman of the Murdoch Orthopaedic Clinic
Graham has been actively practicing elective and trauma orthopaedic
surgery in Western Australia since 1986 as registrar and consultant. Graham is also the founder for the Charity, Australian Doctors for Africa.
