Water Corporation Five Dams Challenge
The sell out Water Corporation Five Dams Challenge was a two person team event of approx 234kms starting at the Narrows Bridge, South Perth, and visiting each of the 5 dams in the Perth Hills before returning to the starting point. The ride visited Mundaring Weir, Churchmans Brook, Wungong Dam, Canning Dam and Serpentine Dam before descending from the foothills and returning to Perth via the freeway.It was held on Sunday March 14.
The Water Corporation Three Dam Challenge
Held on the same day, this 150km ride visits Mundaring Weir, Canning Dam and Wungong Dam, before the teams ride down the hill to Armadale, along Armadale Rd to the freeway and finish at the Narrows Bridge.
Each rider was given a Passport with details of the route and a lunch pack. The ride was supported with snacks, supplements and drinks, plus a sausage sizzle at the finish.
On completing the event, each rider will be awarded a certificate with their time to add to their overwhelming feeling of satisfaction.
