Governance of Bicycling Western Australia is overseen by an elected Board with day-to-day management delegated to a small dedicated team.

ADVISORY GROUPS

EVENTS ADVISORY GROUP (EAG)

This group assists with the development a portfolio of successful events including identification of potential new events for evaluation and development in line with the Strategic Plan.  The EAG’s overall role is to report to the Board and provide appropriate advice and recommendations on events in order to facilitate decision making by the Board.

MEMBERSHIP AND MARKETING ADVISORY REPRESENTATION GROUP (MMARG)

This group assists the Board to execute strategies that grow the organisation’s membership, funding base, capacity and profile.  The MMARG’s overall role is to report to the Board and provide appropriate advice and recommendations on matters relevant to the Strategic Plan.

AUDIT AND RISK SUB-COMMITTEE (A&R)

This sub-committee assists the Board to carry out its corporate governance and oversight responsibilities in relation to financial reporting, internal control systems, risk management systems and the external audit functions.

The overall role is to report to the Board and provide appropriate advice and recommendations on matters relevant to its Constitution in order to facilitate decision making by the Board.
