The City of Stirling’s Women on Wheels program is helping ladies re-discover the joys of travelling on two wheels!
Women on Wheels is a comprehensive program of activities to help women start cycling and keep riding. Run by women for women, Women on Wheels is fun, friendly, and suitable for ladies of all ages and ethnic backgrounds.
LEARN TO RIDE WORKSHOPS
Designed for ladies who have never learned to ride a bicycle, this workshop will teach you the basics of cycling safely and build your confidence on 2 wheels. Run by female coaches, bikes and helmets provided. 3 x half-day sessions.
BACK ON YOUR BIKE WORKSHOP
Suitable for ladies who haven\’t ridden a bicycle in many years, or ladies who are simply lacking cycling confidence. Run by female coaches, bikes and helmets provided. 2 x halved sessions.
WHEELIE WONDERFUL WOMEN
A 12-week training/riding course for participants in the Learn to Ride/Back on your Bike workshops. Wheelie Wonderful Women will help you develop and increase your bike riding skills in a fun and social setting. Rides increase in length and difficulty each week as your skills and stamina increase.
